ABOUT US
On February 1, 1949, William L. Hochschild, Jr. founded Northern Refrigeration and Engineering Company. A Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Illinois, Hochschild had previously worked for Ilg Electric Ventilation Company, now a division of Carrier / United Technologies.
Our first client was the Carlson Building in Evanston. Today, more than 50 years later, the Carlson Building is still a customer.
While we are proud of this fact, we are not surprised. At Northern Weathermakers HVAC, customer service is the cornerstone of our business.
