Terms: All charges are due and payable at time of service to the service tech. A delayed payment finance charge of 2% per month of 24% per annum will be added to any unpaid balance remaining 30 days after the service has been performed. The minimum finance charge is $5.00. it is agreed that the seller will retain title to any equipment or material that may be furnished until final payment is made, and if settlement is not made as agreed, the seller shall have the right to remove same and the seller will be held harmless for any damages resulting from the removal thereof. Special Parts are ordered with the customer approval. The customer agrees if they cancel the related repair, the customer is obligated to pay either a restocking fee of 25% of the proposed repair (minimum $25.00) or the full price of the part if the part is non-returnable or non-cancelable.

We reserve the right to convert payments made by check into "Electronic Payment" using a substitute check. Your financial institution has specific policies and rules regarding "Electronic Payment" to protect your rights and prevent loss and fraud. We also reserve the right to convert any returned check due to insufficient or uncollected funds into an "Electronic Payment".


The manufacturer of the part provided will normally provide a limited parts warranty for one year. In the event that the manufacturer's warranty is less than one year, Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. will extend a limited parts warranty beginning on the day that the manufacturer's warranty expires and ending one year from the date of repair. Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. extends a limited labor warrany for the same specific repair for 90 days from the date of repair. These limited warranties do not apply to any existing, re-employed, or customer provided equipment, parts or materials. No warranties are extended on adjustments. Consequential damages that result from a malfunctioning part(s) or as a result of any labor provided for repairs, replacements or adjustments are not covered. The limit of liability for Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. shall be the dollar amount of the invoice.


Our limited parts and labor warranty is for the specific leak repaired. Unfortunately, many times there can be more than one leak in a system. Our limited labor warranty on the previous leak repair would not cover the new leak. However, if within 90 days of the first leak repair, another leak is identified, Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. will not charge a diagnostic charge or leak search. The customer will then pay only for the repair of the leak, just as you would have done, if the leak was located at the time of the initial repair. Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. makes no other warranties, either express or implied, and its agents or technicians are not authorized to make any such warranties on behalf of the corporation.


As additional consideration for the Services to be rendered by Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Services may have risk of mold and Customer expressly intends to assume the risk of damages and injury, if any, resulting from any and all mold related damages resulting from the Services.

Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. would not undertake the Services except for this Agreement, and this Agreement shall apply to Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. its agents, employees, shareholders, representatives, owners, directors, administrators, successors and assigns all of which shall hereafter be included in references to Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. Customer hereby releases Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. from all claims, losses, damages, risks, or causes of action ("Claims") whether not known or unknowns, arising now or in the future arising directly or indirectly from the Services which result in any damages or injuries or claims either to property or person caused by mold or mold related issues.

The Customer acknowledges and represents to Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc. that he/she is legally authorized to execute this Agreement which shall be binding on the owner of the property on which the Services will be performed and has done so of his/her own free will and accord without reliance on any representation of any kind from Northern Weathermakers HVAC Inc.

When that professional service technician arrives at your location, many costs have been incurred just to get him there ready to do the job.

  • An efficient dispatch office, to get the service technician to your job as quickly as possible.
  • Office computers and other office machines and equipment for accurate billing and accounting
  • A fully stocked warehouse
  • Vehicle costs: maintenance, insurance, being fully stocked for most situations that may occur, etc.
  • Trained office staff
  • A well trained and courteous customer service department

There are additional costs:

  • Specialized training and periodic lectures
  • The proper test equipment
  • Warehouse, shop and office rent
  • Utilities: lights, heat, phone, etc.
  • Service management and quality control
  • Business expenses: legal counsel, advertising
  • Employee benefits
  • Office supplies and postage
  • Taxes income, property, business, social security, employment compensation
  • Insurance: fire, theft, property, workman's compensation, health insurance

As you can see, there are many costs involved with running an efficient service and repair company.

Don't judge service charges solely by the time the technician spends at your business location.

Without years of training, it would not be possible for a doctor to make a diagnosis and prescribe a remedy. Consider for a moment that it isn't just his initial training, but an ongoing variety of continuing study, and the expense of maintaining an adequately equipped staff and office.

As a patient, you pay for his knowledge and skill plus a share of his business costs (overhead). Even if he spends only a few minutes with you, his fee could range from $100.00 to $500.00 depending on his degree or expertise.

This analogy holds true in any service business. The charge for providing service at your business location cannot be determined solely by the time it takes technicians to make repairs.

A qualified service organizations costs begin with the salary of the professional technician. This amount is the same whether the technician is actually making repairs on customer premises, traveling to keep service appointments, or participating in training programs to sharpen his skills.

Now comes the profit. A 10% net profit on a selling price, although seldom realized, would be ideal. Accordingly, if you service charge is $200.00 and we are efficient enough to earn 10% of the $200.00, we are sure you'll agree that is not excessive for providing top quality service on your premises.

All things considered, the cost to a service organization for its service technician's time on the job is the same whether he works with tools or not. A service call that results only in diagnosis and estimate for resolving the problem warrants a service charge.
